Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026Draft, not yet legally reviewed

This policy explains what data we collect through the schoolly.id site, what we use it for, and your rights over it.

  1. 01Scope

This policy applies to the schoolly.id site and the demo request form. Data inside each school's Schoolly application isn't covered here, because it lives on the school's server and is managed by that school.

  2. 02Data we collect

When you fill in the demo form: school name, your name, role, WhatsApp number, email (optional), approximate student count, and your message.

Technically, our servers may log standard information such as IP address and browser type for security and troubleshooting.

  3. 03How we use data

We use the data you send to contact you about demos and consultations. We don't sell your data.

  4. 04Storage on your device

This site stores your theme preference (light, dark, or system) in your browser's local storage. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

  5. 05Sharing data

The demo form doesn't store data on our servers. After you fill it in, the site opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message, and the data only reaches us when you press send. WhatsApp is a third-party service with its own privacy policy. Beyond that, we don't share your data with others unless required by law.

  6. 06How long we keep data

We keep the messages we receive for as long as needed to respond to your request and follow up.

  7. 07Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us at the email below.

  8. 08Student data inside the app

The Schoolly application is installed on the school's server. Student, teacher, and parent data is stored there, not on our servers. The school is responsible for managing that data.

  9. 09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
